Chillveda reviews the equipment people buy to recover at home: sauna cabins and blankets, cold plunge tubs and chillers, red light therapy panels, and percussion and compression tools.
This is expensive gear. A barrel sauna can cost more than a used car, and a cold plunge with a chiller runs into the thousands before you have paid a single electricity bill. Most of what is written about these products online is a rewrite of the manufacturer’s own bullet points. We think a buyer spending that much deserves better.
What we actually do
We research products the way a careful buyer would if they had the time. We read the specification sheets, the installation manuals, the warranty terms, and the safety certifications. We work out what a unit costs to run. We find out whether it needs a dedicated 240V circuit, whether it ships by freight, and what the first year of filters and consumables will add.
Then we say plainly which products we would recommend, for whom, and who should skip them entirely.
There are limits to this, stated here plainly. We do not operate a laboratory and we do not take physical measurements of products. Our work is research and comparison, and our How We Review page explains exactly what that involves and what it does not.

- We do not invent specifications, measurements, or awards. Each figure here points back to a listing or a maker.
- We do not repeat a manufacturer’s marketing claim as though it were a confirmed fact. When a figure comes from a brand, we say so.

- We do not write a review where every product is excellent. A page like that is an advertisement, whatever it calls itself.
How we are paid
Chillveda earns affiliate commissions. Buy through one of our links and the retailer may pay us a share of the sale; your price does not change.
